Greek Beef and Pasta

8 oz Dried Rotini Pasta
12 oz Bonless beef sirloin or top round steak
1 Tbsp Cooking oil
26 oz Jar or  homemade Olive and mushroom  or ripe olive and green olive or marinara pasta sauce
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
5 oz  frozen spinach (thawed and well drained)
1/3 cup  crumbled feta cheese
NOTE: I usually double the meat only.  IF you double the pasta remember to add more sauce.

 

  1. Cook Pasta according to directions and drain.

  2. While pasta is cooking trim fat from meat and thinly slice beef across the grain into bite sized pieces

  3. In large skillet cook and stir beef in hot oil for 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness. 

  4. Add pasta sauce, salt and cinnamon

  5. Cook and stir sauce until bubble

  6. Add cooked pasta and spinach

  7. Cook and stir until heated through.

  8. Sprinkle each serving with feta cheese.

Serves 4 and is about 10 minutes start to finish.
