Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
3/4 cup  Sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

 

  1. Heat oven to 375º

  2. Cream crisco, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed on electric mixer.  Mix Well.  Beat in Egg

  3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and sald.  Mix into creamed mixture.  Drop rounded tsp of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.  Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in flour

  4. Bake at 375ºF for 8 to 10 minutes.  Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet.  Remove to cooling rack

Makes about 2 dozen 2 1/2 cookies.
