Garlic Sausage Casserole

1 pkg Egg noodles (cooked and drained)
1 lb Garlic Sausage  (remove skin)
1/4 cup Chopped Green pepper
1/2 cup Chopped onion
 

SAUCE

1 tsp Garlic Salt
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 can  Tomato sauce
1 cup Water
4 - 6 slices  American Cheese

 

  1. Cook and drain noodles and set aside

  2. Combine Onion and green pepper

  3. Cook Sausage just until not pink anymore and drain grease from pan.

  4. In a buttered casserole dish place layers in this order  1. noodles -              2 onion-pepper  -  3. noodles   -  4.  sausage  -  5 noodles -                      6.  onion-pepper  -  7.  noodles -  8.  sausage                                        and finally top with remaining noodles.

  5. Make the sauce by combining salt, garlic salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and water.  Mix well and pour over prepared casserole

  6. Top with 4 - 6 slices of American Cheese.  

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
