Herman Cinnamon Rolls

  2 cups

  Herman Starter Dough

  2 cups

  Flour

  1/2 tsp

  Baking Soda

  4 tsp

  Baking Powder

  1/2 tsp

  Salt

  1/2 cup

  Cooking OPil

 

  Margarine (softened)

 

  Cinnamon & Sugar

    TOPPING (placed on bottom when baking)
1 stick    Melted Butter
1 cup   Brown Sugar
1.2 cup   Nuts   (I use Chopped Walnuts)

 

 

 

  1.  Thoroughly mix first 5 ingredients.  Add oil and lightly knead on a lightly floured  

       board until no longer sticky.

  2.  Roll out dough to a 1/4" thick rectangle shape & lightly coat with softened margarine. 

  3.  Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste

  4.  Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 1/2" slices

  5.  Mix topping ingredients and spread on bottom of either 2 round or 1- 9x13 cake pan

  6.  Lay slices of dough on top of topping mixture with edges barely touching each other

  7.  Bake at 350° about 30 minutes or until golden brown

  8.  Invert pan immediately on cooking rack to remove (before toping sticks to pan)
